Thirteen years after being erected, the Euro Sculpture was completely renovated by young craftsmen last week.
The blue and yellow acrylic glass covers were replaced and the complete sculpture retrofitted with LED lights. Especially in times when the European Community is being put to the test, a motion such as this is an important statement. Power-saving, but gleaming in full splendour at the same time, this world-famous symbol is glowing for solidarity in Europe.
